Summary
“You want to fake date me?”
Music is my life, my band is my heart and soul, and it’s all falling apart before my eyes.
A plan hatched from desperation as we both watch our careers burn down around us. Dating my best friend’s twin brother, Paris, who just so happens to be a gay icon at the moment seems like the perfect plan. And if we have a little fun along the way, where’s the harm in that? The band is spiraling, his football career is going up in flames, and the more the world falls down around us, the easier it is to get lost in each other.
But are stolen moments during our own busy schedules and hurried kisses hidden behind social media posts the basis for a real relationship, or is this just another thing that’s going to turn to dust in our hands?
Strike a Chord is the fourth and final book in the Replay series. This series can be listened to in any order.

4.5 stars
This was a really good ending to the series, and better than the other books in the series too. It got a bit choppy and lost a little momentum towards the end, but I still really enjoyed it and felt invested in the relationship so only took half a star off for that. I find this author a bit variable with how much I like their stories, but this is probably one of K.M. Neuhold’s best books.

as great as the ebook
The story is always full stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.
The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. Kenneth Obi is one of the top 5 narrators (so far) for me, I can listen without break and have no problems to follow. I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.
