Summary
Newly hired Charleston Condors’ coach Jonathan Kelley is very aware of all the uphill battles he’s got to climb.

Fun and steamy!!
Romance and chemistry! These two were destined to be, from their first meeting to their forever, it's quick, fast-paced and enjoyable.
I will admit I haven't read the other books in the series so didn't know the other characters mentioned but it doesn't take away from Kieran and Jon's story and only made me intrigued about the rest of the team!!

I loved it!
I loved listening to this so much. I haven’t read or listened to the other books in this series but now I want to so much! A bi-awakening and a secret relationship with so much passion. Darcy Stark really brought out all of the emotions in this story and made my eyes leak a little bit. ❤️

A standalone story within the series. I have not read this series and to me it read as a prequel to this series so it was easy to follow and made me want to read the other books.
Darcy did a wonderful performance. He expressed all the emotions and brought the story to life. He gave all of the characters, not just the 2 MCs, their own distinct voice that suited each of them well so it made it easy to follow the story and it was a pleasure to listen to.

A smexy and heartwarming read
When your superpower of knowing just which drink everyone needs fails you, it may not be a bad thing. It might just be because they are the one!
This is a fun flirty short story between Kieran, our favourite bartender and owner of the Pirates Booty and Jon, the new coach of the Condors. The friendship they develop is profound, and the relationship they build is strong and beautifully supportive. All mixed in with some delicious steam.
The audiobook is narrated by Darcy Stark, and he does and excellent job with it. He really brings the story alive and captures the characters and tone of the story perfectly.

Jon & Kieran
I loved this novella and I thought the audio was great. Darcy Stark is a wonderful narrator and he provided a strong performance as he always does.
These are two men who come from two very different worlds. Kieran is Charleston strong running a popular bar with a crazy crew who are just a pile of fun. Jon is the new head coach for the Charleston Condor football team. A huge promotion in his world with the massive weight of expectations on him.
Jon and Kieran find a way to begin an illicit relationship where Jon isn’t ready to come out at work – for now. Kieran understands the stress that Jon’s under and is so supportive. Especially when Jon takes a huge risk. Will it pay off?
I’m super excited to see more books from Beth headed this way and I hope to get more glimpses of this great couple.

A Late Awakening.
MM, Bi Awakening, Slow Burn, Contemporary, Sports, Romance. This novella can be read as a standalone or alongside the series, this story features a side character from the series and a new character. Both MC's are likeable characters and their story is interesting and sweet. An enjoyable addition to the series and a great listen.

A delightful football romance
I loved the Charleston Condors series, so when I saw that my favorite bartender was getting his own novella I was really excited! Kieran and Jon's journey was such a sweet and entertaining read, and Darcy Stack did a fantastic job bringing these characters to life via audio. Because I already knew and loved the two main characters, it was easy for me to get invested in their relationship, and I thought it was really cool to see the highlights of the football season through the coach's perspective. Kieran and Jon had sizzling chemistry from the very start, and while Jon was new to being attracted to a man, he was very relaxed and open-minded about his feelings for Kieran. The two of them fell into an easy companionship that translated into delightfully steamy explorations, and not once did either man get anxious or angsty about where their relationship was headed. The public scrutiny of Jon's job forced Kieran and Jon to keep their romance on the DL, but their feelings for one another only grew stronger and deeper with time. I thought this novella had the perfect balance of friendship banter, football, and romance, and I especially love that it didn't end until Jon and Kieran went public with their relationship and surprised all the Condors players.

A sweet low angst romance
Sweet low angst romance about the Condors' head coach, John Kelly.
I listened to this in audio and the narrator did a good job.
It covers the same period as the existing Condors books.
The development of friendship between John and Kieron through texts and the occasional drink is sweet and John's gradual bi-awakening is handled well. There's no massive freak out or soul searching, and the intimacy is handled maturely.
Recommended for fans of the main series.

I listened to this book on audio, narrated by Darcy Stark, and I enjoyed the performance very much, particularly Kieran's rather nice accent. This is a short, sweet, spicy little book, and I thought it was charming for the first half. The remainder seemed to be mostly heat, and I wasn't in the mood for that, although I'm sure many people will enjoy it vey much. Recommend if you want a spicy short read or listen.

Perfect quick summer listening fling
Story: Cute short romance with fun characters. Not much drama, all the feels. Just perfect for a quick listen!
Narration: Darcy Stark is a match made in heaven for Beth Bolden’s characters. They work great together, enhancing the wholesome experience the stories themselves bring!
