Summary

What kind of superpowered supervillain robs a bank?

After technically being dead for twenty-six years, Marcus might be an old dog with some old-school ideas, but he's got some new tricks up his sleeve. Unbeknownst to Marcus, he is being hunted by both sides of the law. The most powerful superhero in the world wants him brought in because of the danger he might become, while a ruthless, rival supervillain wants him captured and brought to heel. If Marcus wants to take his rightful place at the top of the city's pecking order, he's going to need a lot more than a few million dollars. He might need an extra set of hands. It's a good thing he already has some willing volunteers.

I love this MC and this is the authors best work.

I love this MC, he’s incredibly capable and pragmatic

The premise of being a morally gray character but in reality being a goody goody doesn’t apply here. He is capable cold, pragmatic and enjoyable.

I liked this book. A lot. IT IS BY FAR THE AUTHORS BEST WORK.


I’m fully invested in seeing where it goes. This tale, this MC has me wondering just where the author is going, and I realized that I like this not knowing. A masterful tale, for sure. Highly recommended.
