About this listen
An overconfident pilot with a stolen spaceship must fix an alien device before time runs out. The Newtonians came to Earth 2000 years ago looking for a place to call home. Earth was perfect, except its sun had a fatal flaw that needed to be corrected. Once it was fixed, they were free to abandon their ship and leave it to orbit the planet below. Earthlings commonly refer to it as the moon.
For 2000 years, Sheldor was nothing more than a highly intelligent computer program that maintained every function of Atlantis. It was a very boring and predictable job that was the same, day in and day out. The monotony didn’t bother him, nor was he aware that it was an utterly boring life. He didn’t long for change or wonder when it will all end, he just did his job. It wasn’t until an asteroid slammed into the side of the ship that his life changed in a dramatic way. The damage that followed prevented him from carrying out an important task. A task that would save the Earth below. Part of his programming required him to ensure the survival of the Newtonians and the many generations that followed after them. The asteroid caused a cave-in deep inside a cannon that was supposed to fire photon particles into the volatile sun and correcting its flaw. The cannon required fixing but his figurative hands were tied. He needed someone with enough Newtonian blood to unlock his controls so that he could make the repairs. He was forced to use the satellites in Earth’s orbit to scan the planet below for possible candidates that he could teleport to the inside of the ship. But the process was imperfect. That’s how Laura Rogers ended up inside the moon, making friends with a giant spider and a man called The Dangerous One.
Kirk always looked after his little sister, and he would do anything to find her, like stealing a spaceship. If you like Star Trek and Star Wars, The Kirk Rogers Series celebrates all things sci-fi with some familiar themes, while having a unique story of its own. Don’t worry, even if you don’t catch all the subtle hints or Easter Eggs, it doesn’t take anything away from the story. I hope you enjoy the series as much as I do, and thanks for listening!

Fabulous listen!
This book is far from my usual genre but thought I would give it a try. So pleased I did. Funny, touching and great characters. Definitely hope to listen to more from this author.

Strange Story
This is a somewhat strange story which seems to draw the listener in to a wacky comedic sci-fi world inside the moon, with a girl dying from kidney failure who after dialysis finds herself falling in to this strange world where spiders the size of cars are friendly and baby spider which feed on her help to keep her alive to her brother, a wannabe space astronaut determined to save her. No real spoilers from me but if you enjoy a good science fiction listen with humourous interludes then this is for you. Jared Kedzia narration is excellent with good voicing and he keeps the story moving well. Highly Recommended.
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the author and leave this honest unbiased review.

Good story, let down by the narration.
I'm enjoying the story, but I'm not a fan of the narrator. I would describe this as read, rather than performed. The pattern seems to be - quickly read sentence, pause - quickly read sentence, pause, etc. Now that I've noticed it, I can't un-hear it. I will continue as the story is engaging and imaginative, but it is off-putting. Hopefully the narration improves in future books.

Ok now I’m dumbfounded !!!
Lately I’ve been listening to C. J. Boyle books and each and every one of them is absolutely amazing.
I just don’t get how an author can jump from genre to genre and always write something so beautiful every time !
From serious Science Fiction to mystery Science Fiction and Romantic Science Fiction and now a somewhat Comedy Science Fiction, all beautifully written with an amazing imagination which just grabs you and don’t let you go from the beginnings till the ending and always an excepted twist but still surprising.
As I said one hell of an author, all she touches turn to gold and some spices of Star Trek included here !!!
Once again the author have picked the perfect narrator for the book, Jared Kedzia narrating is absolutely perfect for each character, a perfect job for creating a great audiobook.
And again I’m stuck with the first two in audio of a series of four hoping for the next two to be narrated and somehow getting my hands on them for reviewing.
Absolutely,
and without a doubt
my full recommendation !!
Oded Ostfeld.

Enjoyable from start to finish.
An entertaining story, nothing too heavy just straight up science fiction action which made it hard to put down and with so many nods and references to all my favourite sci-fi shows.
