Summary
Adopest has fallen....

Solid story simply told
I loved the concepts of this book, the different forms of magic, more than the characters i think, still it was a fun rollercoaster ride

Fantasy with characters you connect with
Great trilogyand good magic system, in fact two magic systems at least are woven into this trilogy.
This book concludes a very exciting and emotional rollercoaster of a storyline. I came late to this series, actually reading another series that takes place after this one before reading the three books in this trilogy.
Christian Rodska (sorely missed) does a fantastic job of narrating and loved his accents, especially the Northeast accent. One of the accents was a little reminiscent of Lily Savage, which made me smile!
Brian McClellan is a great writer and concluded the story Arc very well. Highly recommend.

Thoroughly Impressed
Story – 5/5
The powder mage trilogy has been one hell of a ride – action packed from start to finish, great world and characters, intriguing politics. For such a complex story to be told for the reader/listener to follow easily suggests masterful story telling from Brian McClellan. He easily makes my top 5 list, and I will be buying everything he releases.
The ending to the story was incredibly satisfying. It has a great climax that any trilogy of this calibre should have, but it doesn’t hit quite as strongly because there were very few quiet moments throughout. It’s not an issue though, character and world driven fantasy tends to be more about the journey anyway, and this definitely delivered on that front.
It is left completely open for more Powder Mage stories, so I hope he does one-offs like Abercrombie has. A well deserved 5/5.
Performance – 4.5/5
Another great performance from Christian Rodska. He creates a fantastic atmosphere in his story-telling, and each character is distinctively recognisable. As GhostMuppet has already said – he does make younger men sound older at times, but I didn’t find this much of an issue.

Unapologetic, bombastic, with great narration.
The conclusion to the Powder Mage trilogy goes full throttle as we get all the main characters back home. There's the Kez to sort out, an occupied Adro, a political baddy, gods, lots of excessive violence, and some great banter, especially with Bo and Nila. Unapologetic and bombastic. Loved every minute.

Brilliant.
Simply the best series of books I have listened to!
The narration was flawless with the story telling well paced and not overcooked.
The characters was interesting and believable.
Hopefully there will be more to these characters story?

Absolutely Epically Awesome.
Bloody pit, that was absolutely bloody epic, wow the emotions and the feels after reading The Autumn Republic. What a conclusion to a fantastic series that just got better and better with each book. Damn my brain is spinning after that ending and the author did not disappoint. I really did not want this to end, Brian McClellan has truly given us something special with this trilogy. His characters are so good and though Tamas is the main protagonist, the other protagonists are just as amazing. So action packed with battles, gun powdered sorcery and magical gods looking to play politics. When the Field Marshal Tamas is off dealing with the King of Kez and his army South of the border, other players from the nine and their privileged sorcerers make a move on Adopest. Having to fight now on two fronts, can Tamas defeat the Kez and take back his city from from foreign hands. Read to it find out and I promise you will not be able to put this series down once you start reading from the very first page. Fantastic storytelling at its finest. The narrator Christian Rodska has given an amazing preformence through out the whole series. Now for Gods Of Blood And Powder trilogy, Kresimirs balls me nerves. I very highly recommend...😁💥💙
