Very accessible and recommended
I listened to this following hearing Steve Brusattes "The Rise and Reign of the Mammals" (and before that his "The Rise and Fall of the Dinosaurs.) Undoubtedly this series of lectures are a logical extension of the subject of evolution looking at our forebears which are accessible and informative which I commend to others who, like myself, are learning about this fascinating issue.

Fascinating content, poorly narrated
I was fascinated by what Dr Feurriegel had to say in this series of lectures, and the story of how we evolved, which she acknowledges can only be based on the latest information and reasonable guesses to fill in the blank bits.
It seemed a bit repetitive at times, not helped by the rather monotone and distinctly fast narration. It sounded very like the lectures were being read from a script, rather than delivered to engage and interest an audience.

Riveting
Ten compelling and authoritative lectures on human evolution. Dr Feuerriegel is an Australian paleoanthropologist researcher at the University of Washington. Here she presents the significant hominid finds from the time we diverged from the chimpanzee line and reviews many of the hypotheses and conjectures about them in an even handed and persuasive way. I was utterly transfixed.

So what’s the time now then?
Spoken so clearly and at a perfect pace that I was easily digesting and visualising all that was being said and forming layers upon layers of mental mapping to the point that I was Googling like mad to try and find relatable pictures and actually bought a wall map to stick and scribble on when I listen again. Certain worth another listen. Accompanying materials would have been amazing with this.
An absolute wealth of information of our evidential journey to here, yet in just under 6 hours?!
I am sure it could have been longer, of course, while at the same time, even having some knowledge of this complex and debated area, this is kept to the point and digestible for anyone at any level of interest or learning, it does the job in concluding itself the best a topic can that is not concluded yet along the way gives plentiful avenues for exploring any areas of peaked interest.
Superb, recommend, if studying anything that includes human evolution this would be a great accompaniment to aid in learning.
