Excitement to disbelief
Really enjoyed this, although it was split between two stories , but from the disclosure and stupidity of the leading female character I lost interest in an improbable situation. How she got to be a barrister I will never know. 😳

Great but really???
Enjoyable listen but in reality would an intelligent barrister get herself into such a mess and carry out such a crime??

the first half of the book was excellent. Then the plot became unrealistic. A very good writer and narrator.Llet down by the the conclusion

a different kind of police story
very clever story that looks at things from another side. A story that in a way needed telling. very good very compelling that demands reading or listening to to the very end

Disappointed
The story is fine as a stand alone book but really disappointing as a much looked forward to next book in the series. Craig Gillard, the usual main character, hardly featured in the book at all. Instead it was told from the point of view of people involved in the crime. The odd couple of mentions of Craig felt like they were just thrown in here and there so the series name could be used. Disappointing

Mmmmm….
Interesting twist on the usual process driven plot - but I just couldn’t believe in the actions of Julia (the barrister) which spoilt the story.

Fantastic descriptive action
in this story the action starts on the very beginning, and doesn't stop until the end. A most enjoyable story, well narrated.

lost its way a little.
Not enough Craig Gillard in the book and no epilogue filling in some blanks, definitely felt diffrent from all the other books in the series. the title is also misleading and it only gets its name from the last chapter rather than the whole book seems like an after though. #body in the driveway
