Inspiring

Loved hearing the third instalment of their time so far at the chateau, read so engagingly by Dick and Angel. Adds depth to the tv show but equally enjoyable with or without having watched all the shows. A lovely window into the life their family and business. Hoping to visit the Chateau one day!

A feel good listen

This book oozes family unity and positivity. It has a charm about it and is a soothing listen over the festive period as it has an upbeat feel

I think readers may need to have watched the show to get the most out of this audio book and appreciate the delivery style.

Their reflections on the COVID Lockdown were interesting and thoughtful and gave an insight which the show did not.. For this reason, I think it stands apart from their other Chateau books as I feel future generations will find those pandemic lockdown reflections of social historical interest.

I find the instructions how to craft or cook do not really work as an audio book. There is a lot of detail in this final of the trilog,y, perhaps too much detail , but it is an enjoyable listen.

Repeat of what we already know

Don’t buy this book - by reading the 2 preceding books you have all you need to know - I like Dick and Angel but this is a waste of money

Repeat

I was really looking forward to this book! To me it's just a repetition of what we heard from the tv show. It feels like"we had to write this book,it's in the contract "
Sadly I can't recommend this book 📕
