About this listen

On a dark and stormy December night, my family are gathered at an isolated hotel in the English countryside. We're reuniting for the first time since the accident that shattered our lives ten years ago. It's a time for love and forgiveness. But more than one guest has an ulterior motive:

The perfect daughter . . . The alcoholic

The single mother . . . The liar

The handsome husband . . . The adulterer

The beautiful sister . . . The jealous sibling

The murderer . . .

As the clock strikes midnight, one member of our party is found dead at the foot of the grand marble staircase. Everyone is a suspect. But which one of us is a killer?

The twists and turns

My third read by the author and definitely didn't disappoint me. I thoroughly enjoyed this psychological thriller.

The Christmas Party takes us to a remote hotel in the English countryside. The Bailey family has so many secrets, and everything starts to unveil this Christmas party.

As the clock strikes midnight, a body is found, and all hell breaks lose.

I loved all the characters and how they all fit in. The story is told in five different POVs, and each character brings in so much to the story.

With so many twists and turns, the Christmas Party will have you hooked on, and I can not wait to hear what the characters are up to next. Highly recommend this book.

A firm ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me.

Average story

Predictable, too many moving parts, unanswered questions, bizarre outcome. The story was a bit far fetched and not really believable.
