Won't download to kindle

This is a great book, with one HUGE problem. It will only download to Apple devices. I have tried it on a range of different old and new kindle scribes and the new kindle paperwhites, and it will not download to any of them, no matter how often I try. It is presumably not compatible with android devices, though this is not stated anywhere in the description. This is the second audiobook I have had in December with major technical problems (the other had the chapters in random order) and I am fed up with people doing sloppy jobs of producing audiobooks.
