boring
the prologue was a count down to an eveñt and contained no tension or suspense. The narrator seemed to be daydreaming. The next two chapters consisted of two characters meeting in a bar. God knows how they ended up leaving together as the writing portrayed no chemistry between them. I gave up when the "plot" veered towards a bit of titillation with them starting to remove each other's clothes. I had no connection to the characters and all I could think was "get this stab at bsd romantic fiction out of your system and actually write something decent" Two chapters in and I literally had no idea what the writer was trying to achieve. very little world building had taken place and I couldn't give two hoots about any character that had been introduced. The narrator could of been reading a shopping list rather than describing a love trist. absolutely no emotion in the performance whatsoever. if you can't tell already, I really resent spending a credit on this audio book.
