Fifteen years to life is a long time to be sentenced to prison, even if I do deserve it. As the Enforcer of my MC, I had to do some things that would give most people nightmares. I'm prepared to do my time, waiting for my lawyer to appeal my sentence. But when an opportunity presents itself to escape, I take it. I'm on my way back to my clubhouse in Tennessee when I get stuck in a small Missouri town. I have to kidnap the small-town mechanic to aid in my escape, ignoring the unfamiliar cravings I feel towards him.

After finishing my weekly food run, I'm approached by a hot-as-sin guy in the parking lot with a broken-down truck. I help him out and think he's on his way until he shoves a gun into my back. Turns out that hot guy is an escaped convict and all he wants is my cooperation as a hostage. To live, I'll have to trust him and do everything I can to save my life… including using my body.

Nice book!
Nice to characters and story, I didn’t get bored and enjoyed the entire book.
Hot spicy scenes 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Awesome narration, both narrators did a great job and their voice corresponded perfectly with the characters.
Highly recommend for bikers/mm romance lovers!

Brilliant and Refreshing
R.S. Mackenzie is a terrific writer who creates credible drama and colourful engaging characters, without judgement. Rax, the convict of the title, is so well drawn - I don’t know how I ended up having so much empathy for him, but I did. Which situated me closely to the other protagonist, Finn, because probably against his better judgement, he falls in love with him too. The erotic scenes emerge naturally and are absolutely scorching. Filled with memorable supporting characters and locations, and very well plotted out. Thoroughly enjoyed this listen - great narrators as well.

Brilliant listen
this was my first book from this author and it won't be the last, fantastic story read by brilliant narrators, just the right amount of feels, action and spice.. I'm gutted the next book isn't available on audible though..
