Summary

Welcome to the Gun Show!

The top 10 list is populated. The sponsorship program is open. The difficulty is ramping up. The first three floors were nothing compared to what Carl and Donut now face.

The Iron Tangle. An impossibly complicated subway system built out of the world's subterranean railway systems, all combined and then tied together into a knot. Up is down. Down is up. Close is far. The cars are filled with monsters, the railway stations are less than safe, and the exit is always just a few stops away.

But there is hope. For the first time, the crawlers are all working together. The loot is better than ever. And the secret to unraveling it all may be hidden in the pages of a seemingly useless book.

Welcome, crawlers. Welcome to the fourth floor of the dungeon.

So so good

I have 500 books in my audible library and this is the 3rd review ive written. it takes an astounding book to make me take the time to review ....this series is one . I started book 1 a week ago and have not stopped listening since. Panicking now as the next book has not come out yet . The whole series is just great and never becomes mundane ....can't wait for the next book.

Dark and bizarre

Well that became dark and outright bizarre very fast.
Very enjoyable, certainly worth the credit.

Great but train conductor narrator is awful

Great continuation but honestly I really didn’t enjoy the train conductor narrator. A terrible amateurish performance. Awfully jarring compared to all other narration in the previous few books. Other than that great books as usual

Excellent story, brilliantly performed

I enjoyed the book, and I enjoyed the audio book. It's part three of an ongoing series, so it's absolutely best to start with the first one.

This, the third book in the ongoing story of Carl and Donut, doesn't feel quite as strong as the first two books, but it's up against a high standard. It's still very enjoyable, the jokes are solid, the adventuring is continuing and the characters are still engaging and well-written.

As with the other two audiobooks in the series so far, magnificently performed by Jeff Hays, who brings a lot of life to the story. As an example, whilst I enjoyed the conversation with Prepotente in the book, I adored it in this format.

I don't honestly think that the Critical Drinker brought much to the story or performance that wasn't there before, but as long as everyone is having fun, I'm not complaining, as it didn't make anything worse either. Solid performance as basically his own YouTube persona, and it fit the character well.

Looking forward to the release of part 4!
