Missed opportunity to catch up with a great character from mr Grishams earlier work, slow and no depth of character. Still don’t know who the culprit was

Dull as dishwater
I really wish I had read reviews before I embarked on this dull book.
I only stuck to the end because of The Firm, the two books feel like they were written by completely different authors.
Save yourself the bother, the characters and story are both flat.

Oh no, What a disappointment.
I was really looking forward to this one. Unfortunately John Grisham did not deliver. The plot didn’t go anywhere, the chapters were rambling and the,ending predictable. No twists or great plot reveals. I can hardly believe that the publisher went ahead with this one. I usually love GRISHAM’S novels but perhaps it’s time for him to hang up his laptop and to be remembered for his top rated legal bestsellers.

what a disappointment
I have always enjoyed John Grisham's legal procedurals but this is just jingoist, racist rubbish. When anybody from a hot country is described as swarthy, smelly, dirty, eyes-too-close-together then it has to be stopped.
Who cares about the travails of the largest, richest legal firm in the world?
