Summary
Betrayal changes everything.
The veil between realms is threatened by an unknown force, Silas vanishes without a trace, and Nivian is tasked with putting a stop to it and finding their fate keeper.
But a greater threat looms. A betrayal Nivian doesn’t see coming puts everyone’s loyalty into question and threatens to destroy not only the fragile alliance the Reapers and Hunters have formed, but everything they’ve worked so hard to protect.
Nivian’s heart threatens to get in the way of her duties as she struggles to face her feelings for Kain, the man who was once her mortal enemy but is now someone she can’t seem to resist. Her only hope of success lies with him, yet guilt causes her to hesitate when she can least afford to.
As the veil starts to crumble, Nivian must race against time and draw upon everything she has to save the balance before the world becomes a literal hell on earth. But will it cost her more than she can survive?

Let this fantastic fantasy group you
Book 2 in the series. It picks up where book 1 left off . This one has lots of twists and turns it will grab you from the first sentence right till the end . You’ll be routing for our couple to be together even though they shouldn’t be .
Same characters as the first our couple Nivian, Kain, and Caspian and Silas. .
The story is between the light of the world and the dark. As we know in book 1 Nivian is the dark the reapers, Kain is her opposite, Kain loves Nivian , Nivian thinks she loves him but she’s not sure , she doesn’t know what it would feel like .
There is balance in the world with all the characters , because they have their other half in their lives. Silas and Yeva are together. Silas is important in keeping the dark and light , the reapers and hunters together and equal . Silas goes missing all of a sudden . Everyone is trying to see who took Silas. You also need to see if he’s found to save mankind grab it and find out
The performance of Sarah is great. Her tone with all the characters is perfect . Her voice is strong and calm

Amazing second in series
Definitely read book one before you start this book. Amazing characters and world building. This story takes you through an emotional rollercoaster full of laughs, some tears and just sucks you into the book. Amazing series, I cannot wait for book 3.

Cliffhanger alert!
Oh my, Book 2 does not disappoint in any way at all, Ali Winters continues the story full speed and doesn't drop the ball throughout! imaginative, compelling and a sad ending I really wasn't expecting (But I have hope!) Narrated brilliantly by Sarah L Colton, the emotion in her characterisation had me nearly in tears.
Read book 1 first for the full experience. Easy recommendation by me.

The Exodus
This book has me in awe at how life and death weave together and the struggle it is to keep the balance. I can’t say too much without giving any spoilers, but will say that you will not be disappointed to get this and it will leave you craving for what comes next!

Great!
Continues right where book one leaves off, so would not be a good standalone. The author does a great job of continuing to build Nivian and Kain's relationship. We also get a better look into the past and how the Reapers and Hunters even began. There are many twists that accompany the action and suspense throughout as all the characters try to maintain the balance between light and dark. I like Nivian a lot as a character and I hope that we will see more development of her character in future books. If you loved book one, you'll love this one, too.... oh, and that cliffhanger will leave you highly anticipating book three!
The narrator is perfect for the story and is an especially great fit for Nivian's character. She does a great job really bringing the characters the life and exhibiting Nivian's naive nature.

Amazing story!!
What an excellent story. This story is extremely well written and narrated! The book has a lot of twists and turns throughout the book. The narrator does a fabulous job with the characters and voices of the characters! The story left me on the edge and wanting to continue the story, so I had to get the next book in the series.

Entertaining!
The Exodus, the second book in the Hunted Series, is a fantastic YA urban fantasy. It's well-composed, the writing is detailed and descriptive. The storyline is entertaining with an engaging plot, loaded with magic, action, drama, romance, twists, and turns. The characters are fabulous, I really enjoyed the dialogue and the back and forth.
Excellent performance by Sarah L. Colton. She portrayed the characters' personalities and emotions very well, bringing them to life. I strongly recommend the series to all YA readers/listeners.

Wow!!!!!
I received the audiobook in exchange for an honest review. It was nice to continue the adventures of Canne and Nivi and the deteriorating relationship with Silas and Eva. I was shocked at some other developments as well. The ending was excruciating because I needed to find out what happened. I can't wait to hear book 3.Loved it.

That ending!
My only complaint was the ending. Just because I didn't want it to end. I thought the narration was done excellent. I also had never been so mad at a character before. Can't wait for more!
