Summary

Is your love life in tatters? Could this be some unseen meddling force? Could this be the ghosts of Curmudgeon Avenue?

The house on Curmudgeon Avenue should be happy now—the nincompoop residents have all met their sorry ends. But they haven't quite left...now that a new family move in, can the house find peace? Or are the ghosts of Curmudgeon Avenue going to interfere with the goings-on, romance, and dramas that new residents bring?

Gordon and Zandra Bennett, along with their lovelorn daughter, Krystina, move all the way from London to Curmudgeon Avenue. Zandra has her heart set on renovating the four-story Victorian terrace and hires Harry to rip out the old and bring in the new. Wonder how that will go down with the grumpy yet proud house? Not to mention Harold, Edna, and Edith who are trapped in their previous home with no choice but to haunt Krystina, moan about the renovations, and get up to mischief.

Meanwhile, Patchouli and Gil Von Black's heavy metal romance continues with a brief tour of the US.

Hilariously brilliant.

Sincere thanks to wonderfully kind Samantha Henthorn for sending me a copy of this audiobook for which she expected nothing at all, not even, my honest review, but how could I not offer it?!

Synopsis
The house on Curmudgeon Avenue should be happy now, the nincompoop residents have all met their sorry ends. But they haven't quite left... now that a new family move in can the house find peace? Or are the ghosts of Curmudgeon Avenue going to interfere with the goings-on, romance and dramas that new residents bring?

The house is back, full of all the wit snobbery and sarcasm that we expect. Still full of nincompoops despite their demise they are back as the ghosts of number one curmudgeon avenue. The whitefield massive are all back in their full figured hilarious form, I’m still laughing at patchouli “keeping her hand in” despite her having coming up in the world.
Harry the bastard working hard on a remodel of the house, and some new characters to get acquainted with made this an absolute treat. WanFa Rose absolutely kills me, and I can’t wait to see where her and Ricky Rickets go from here. Samantha your books are an absolute joy, and Lindsay McKinnon your narration is a tonic. I don’t think I could live the series more. Absolutely first class entertainment.
