Summary
Have you ever felt a deep yearning on the inside, gently tugging at your heart? It feels like something is missing. Come, take another look with me at the shepherd's psalm in "The Heart of My Shepherd." See how the Lord gently leads, protects, and genuinely loves you. Only He can fulfill that yearning, just like a shepherd cares for his sheep. The Lord is loving and a gentleman and will not force Himself into our lives. He wants us to make the choice and choose to serve and make Him our shepherd.
Carolyn Savage was born in North Carolina and relocated to Norristown, Pennsylvania at around eight years old. She has always had a love for listening to, telling, and writing stories. She gave her life to the Lord as a young teen. She loved going to church and serving in any way she could and she has since served in numerous capacities, as a teacher and wherever else there was a need. One of her greatest joys was teaching at VBS. She worked in the local school district for over twenty-one years. She earned a degree in early childhood education and is now retired. She is married to Marvin, her husband of over forty years, and is the mother of three adult children, Gabriel, Michael, and Rebecca. Her three grandchildren, Kellyn, Caleb, and Noah, are the joys of her life. Alongside her husband, Carolyn founded and has co-pastored Kingdom Family Fellowship in Norristown, PA, for over eleven years. If by writing this book I could help somebody know that God loves them and wants us to trust Him. As He leads us, He will help us avoid a lot of pitfalls we encounter and can't see because we need guidance.
