Great Read
I think the uncle made the book more interesting, he’s very funny, and it’s wonderful to read a book that has been put together by three Morden authors. Periodic, yet so much humour and hearting warm.

Funny, sweet, ridiculous
Overall enjoyed it. Though, the narrators voice frustrating and wooden, which took away from the story. But the story was funny and kept me waiting. Julia Quinn more indepth descriptions will alway be appreciated!

Good story, really didn’t like the narration
I’m a big fan of Julia Quinn and enjoyed this trio’s other book but the narration on this drove me mad! Weird emphasise on almost every sentence and the male Scottish accents were so shouty! May not annoy everyone but was too much for me

A typical Julia Quinn style, which is a compliment
Sadly the narration was poor. I’ve read another compilation by these authors which had far better narration. The voice was all wrong I’m afraid and too some of the joy of the book away because of it

Terrible narration
The narrator sounds like she is a robot and can’t act. It’s terrible. I’m only on chapter 3 and Not sure I can cope with the whole audio book with this narrator.

Good story but poor narration

Predictable but enjoyable story, dreadful performance
Dreadful audio performance, every sentence delivered as if it were a surprise and the Scottish accents were embarrassing and offensive. Most of the young women sound like breathless damsels. The bad accents also made it difficult to keep track of the story. I was nervous about ordering a Quinn book that wasn’t narrated by Landor especially with such awful reviews and I was sad to be so disappointed. Can I have a credit back please?

The awfull narration
I loved al the other stories by Julia Quinn, But not this one, the story is not super, but it is ok. But not worth the credit because: Believe the other reviewers, the natration is awful!
I tried the sample and thought I could get used to the narrator, because I always listen at 1,5 speed. No such luck, It grinds on your nerves. I finishef the book, but ll skip al other books from this narrator.
