Summary
‘How long have I got, Doc? Five days? Five weeks? Five months? Five years?’
‘Months,’ the oncologist replied.
When he heard this devastating news, Steve Legg and his wife Bekah made a bold decision – they would get busy living and get busy laughing.
Yes, there were tears that day and in those that followed, but Steve is a funnyman and a man of faith. He was never going to give cancer the last laugh.
In his latest book, international baffler and funny guy, Steve Legg, faces the no-joke reality of the diagnosis of a terminal illness. An engaging listen throughout, the book will lead you to the most wonderful of all conclusions: that we are never, ever alone, and never, ever forsaken.
But this is not just Steve’s story; he draws lessons that can change not only the way we view our death – but also our life.
Hope. Heart. Humour. Humanity. This gripping story has everything.

Let's Laugh and Live!
This audiobook is full of faith, uncertainty, hope, trials, laughter, and tears. Yes, all those things can exist in paradox together, and Steve shares his journey in a beautifully inspiring and personal way that prove it. Steve and his wife Bekah inspired me through their courage and love for Jesus despite a terminal cancer diagnosis and all that this involved. Steve's perspective about death really encouraged me because of some things I am dealing with right now and because 3 key people in my life went to be with Jesus in the past year, 2 completely unexpectedly. But stories like Steve's remind me again that with the Good Shepherd, I am never alone. And even though death is awful, because of Jesus' victory, death will never have "the last laugh", or as my pastor likes to say "the final say-so." Our lives are in God's hands. Thank you for sharing from your heart.

Great listen from start to end!
I recently had the pleasure of immersing myself in an incredible and authentic narrative whilst travelling on the train each morning to work, and it was an experience like no other. From start to finish, listening to this story was an absolute delight. What truly sets it apart is its authenticity; every moment felt genuine, and so true
The storytelling captivated me from the very beginning, weaving together a tapestry of emotions, struggles, and triumphs. It's rare to come across a tale that feels so raw yet so real and true to life but this story effortlessly achieves just that and it’s lovey to also hear some great jokes also!

Refreshingly honest, heart-warming, and containing hope.
How would you cope with a diagnosis from your doctor that you had less than one year to live?
This is something that Steve and his wife and family bravely and honestly face up to.
He explains their journey, in such a heart-warming way, with a bit of humour thrown in.
Refreshingly honest. Read by Steve himself. Such a good listen it makes you want to listen again!
I would recommend to anyone in a similar situation. So heartwarming. Ending with some Hope to share.

In the end, this book shows that humor and staying positive can really kick challenges in the butt, making it a seriously awesome listening experience—prayers for you and your family Steve in these challenging times.
