Summary
Jeb Jackson, a once famous rodeo star, lives in isolation on his family’s storied ranch in Montana. Until the day a mysterious and complex young woman pays him a visit.
Less of a visit and more like the surprise of his life - an unwelcome one at that. Or so it seems, when the beautiful stranger (who claims to know him) announces she needs “straightening out”.

enjoyable
This was a super sweet story which I totally enjoyed. Jeb was extremely sweet and considerate which was a contrast to his brother John from the second book. The narrator did a good job on the female voice however her male voice was not as good. I feel a male narrator would have made the listen more enjoyable.

This isn’t my first story return by this writer absolutely love all their books if you’re after a sweet romance story with a second chance love this is the book for you

Fun, Quirky Quick Listen
This is the final book in this series by Tessa Bowen. All of them are quickly and fun to listen to. This one is about a retired Rodeo Star; Jeb; and a prior Beauty Queen; Lorelei.
These two were fun to watch as their story unfolds and it was fun to hear.
Virginia is the narrator of the whole series and she does characterize each person so it’s easy to hear who is who in the book. I’m from a place where RODEO is huge for the 10 days of Stampede and cringed when she pronounced it “row day Oh” as in the fancy store lined street everyone knows. They are two really different events and I almost stopped when I heard that but I was so happy that I kept going.
Wonderful ending where we see characters from book 2 so it showcases where everyone ended up nicely.
I was giving this audiobook by the author and this is my honest review. If you love quirky quick listens this audiobook is right up your alley!

Great listen to a story
I have listened to a lot of Tessa Bowen stories . And this is book 3 in the series . Tessa knows how to write stories that will grab your attention. This story will grab your attention with lots of twists and turns . The love story will grab your heart . You meet the hero in a previous story . Grab the other 2 stories in the series . This story is about Jack’s brother who , Jeb,
Jeb is saving a beauty, who is messed up . She needs to go straight, she’s hooked on drugs and other things. Does Jeb save her . While he is saving her , do they get closer.
Virgina performance was great . She did this whole series . Her voice is strong and her tone is great

Second Chance Romance
The Mermaid and the Cowboy by Tessa Bowen is a second chance romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Virginia Ferguson. This is the third book in The Demon Duchess Series.
I absolutely love Tessa’s books! They always leave me with a smile on my face.
Virginia did a great job on the narration. I love that she uses different voice/tones for each character. It really helps bring the story to life.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves second chance romances.

This is such a fun book. The characters had me laughing out loud so many times but it was also sweet and steamy and amazing. The perfect book for a glum day it will lift your spirits

Poor little rich girl vs Poor big rich cowboy
I received this audiobook free from the author for an honest review. This was a cute "second change romance" with wit and romance. Sometimes it is downright funny. This is basically a standalone in this series, but I'm gonna have to go back and listen to the two previous books just to remember Jeb's brother's story. The author did a great job of keeping the listener's/reader's attention. The narrator was good, but she needs to learn the difference in pronunciation of a cowboy rodeo from Rodeo Drive shopping. Overall I enjoyed this book.
