the best book i've read about the moon
a wide and thoughtful sweep through moon facts and history, rendered in fine prose for the non-techy reader. i'm writing a novel that has the moon race as a backdrop, in 1967, and Morton's book has been very helpful for my understanding of the 'human nature' of the moon.

An in-depth analysis of the science, fiction and future of the moon. Also very mindful and eloquent narration.

The Moon is not about the moon
Very disappointed. It started off well enough and then veered off into ill thought through stuff about Earth not the moon. I gave up on it.
