Summary
Ruethwyn's life may have been destroyed, but now she's ready.
With the blessing of the fey and others who she barely dares dream of, Ruethwyn's body is whole once more. Turning to the future, she sets her sight on her beloved who was stolen away by a dragon. Yet even with all her magic at her command, Ruethwyn stands little chance against such a powerful foe, so she must tread lightly.
Other foes threaten to halt Ruethwyn's efforts even now, though, foes that would kill her or imprison her. With her friends at her side, Ruethwyn will face any threats that stand in her way, especially since her friends have become dearer than she'd imagined. Still, any romance will have to wait, for at long last Ruethwyn can act.

Hope for a new trilogy
I have found this trilogy entertaining continued to throw twist right up too the end. I hope that the story will continue on with these amazing characters as I would like to see how they face new challenges and see how they grow. More so the how the relationships grow and change and now they will have a chase to truly shine and explore.

I really loved these 3 books. The whole series was a build up to 1 big, amazing fight which, to be honest, I was a little let down by. I expected more fighting, more action, just more.... However I do believe this is a good ending. One that gives hope there might be a follow-up series maybe? please :p
This series was a beautiful escape to a different world with friendship, love, but also realistic hardship.
The narator was consistent throughout the series and by book 2 I didn't really need the "said corra" parts.
I hope you listen to it! I hope there might be a series for the future with the children of everyone and a really big battle :p

Good, but......
The overall story in this third volume was great, enjoyed listening to the narrator who is very talented with all of the different character's voices, but the author repeats phrases constantly through all of these books. for example....."Her eyes went wide" " His eyes went huge" and "For a long moment"amongst others. Very irritating after a while and I found myself having to persevere with the story whilst trying to ignore it. if I had a pound for every time I heard the same phrases I'd be a rich man!

Repetitive & anticlimactic
I really wanted to like this series and hence pushed through all 3 books to give it a fair shot and in hopes that the writing and characters would develop.
The plot idea was a good one but I literally swore out loud when after 3 books worth of dragging the plot out, the ending was so hugely anticlimactic... to the point where I actually read right past the 'big moment' without even realising it, still waiting for the crescendo that never came.
The main character development was alright but there was none that I could see for the supporting characters. We were *told* by the main character that a certain support character or two had developed, which made me laugh. E.g. "She didn't appear to be as shy as when she first arrived"... but there were no actions, etc to back that up, just her saying it.
The writing is extremely dialogue heavy and repetitive. For example, one character notices something, is surprised and then giggles. Every other character in the friend group then literally has the exact same reaction, and the main character responds to each in exactly the same way. Highly irritating.
It also felt like this was written by a man (author name is male sounding but you never know these days, and... pseudonyms). There was just something off about the interactions and relationships between the women. There's no romance or real connection, it's just her 2 female companions randomly dropping a kiss on her. There's no build up, there's no chemistry, just someone saying "I like you" and then a brief kiss that *always* surprises and confuses the main character.
The way the narrator voiced the female characters made them all sound like immature, pubescent teens, which was confusing given that they were supposedly in their 30ies (I get that Elves live longer than humans but 30 years of life would surely still add some maturity).
I won't be reading more from this author or recommending the series based on above.
