To save a missing girl...

Dan Delgado is a private investigator. When it comes to finding cheating spouses, corporate thieves, or runaway teenagers, he’s unenthusiastic, and unmatched. As a former San Francisco detective, he misses more meaningful work, but he hasn’t had the heart for it since his wife’s death five years prior. That is, until a phone call from a distraught mother, an illegal immigrant who can’t go to the police, puts him on the hunt for a missing little girl.

By the time he reaches the mother’s small home, she’s missing, too. The circumstances are strange, but when a team of heavily armed mercenaries arrive, Delgado is convinced there is more going on than a simple kidnapping.

Joined by his wise-cracking elderly assistant, a gun-toting pastor, and a UFO enthusiast Uber driver, Delgado follows the clues west, to Colorado City, a town cleaved in two by the 37th parallel, also known as the UFO Highway. In a town infamous for fundamentalist Mormon cult activity, they uncover evidence of a massive child-trafficking ring whose ringleaders might not be human.

Delgado and crew are plunged into a dangerous world of corporate competition, UFO lore, and government cover-ups. While they hunt for answers, they’re pursued across the Southwest by high-tech mercs, brainwashed cults, and beings whose true identity has been concealed since 1947.

...he must risk the world.

UFOs and alien abductions remain some of the most hotly debated and mysterious subjects of the 21st century. In the decades since 1960, with reports of strange encounters on the rise, 13 million people have gone missing worldwide and never been found. The Others takes a fast-paced, unique, and moving look at the phenomenon that has fueled Jeremy Robinson’s imagination since several sightings, strange happenings, and visits with renowned UFO investigator and family friend Raymond Fowler.

I was gripped from the very beginning

I was not hesitant to listen to this book, because im used to Bray as a narrator, so it has to be good.

the story however, that turned out to be soooo much better than i could have ever imagined. beautifully written, amazing plot and characters. the way this authors mind works is phenomenal, he manages to merge pop culture references into the story and keep it relevant.

I wont talk about the plot or story, as I dont like reviews myself that do that as it can spoilt it. but i will sah this, if you love alien comtact, scifi, and or a fan of RC Bray this books is a must listen. I was gripped from the very beginning.

Really good, totally nuts as usual!

I don't think it's my favourite one of the series, but it's so hard to pick. I wrote in my review for Mindbullet that I didn't think there would be a character better than Bubbles, but then Winnie came along. She's great!

It goes from something familiar to something totally unfamiliar by the end and I just loved the whole experience.

Great book, but do you research on the series before assuming

Like M Young’s recipe just a day ago, i bought this assuming it was a series and following infinite. Within the first fifteen minutes i was in the internet doing some reading, finding out that the series is loosely coupled in the same universe, although sometimes in it is a real book two to infinite. After about twenty min, i was ready to send it back to audible for a refund, not sure i want to commit 100 hours on the series, I’m a ex-force follower, so know how long series eat time. Anyway, i stuck it out, and within an hour the charterers were in place and rc bray kept you in the game. A good listen all in all and I’ll do book three, but might then jump straight to the infinite #2

Very good audiobook for sci-fi lovers👍

Very interesting story. Non stop action and surprising plot twists. Also funny and entertaining. Author incorporated bits of popular "conspiracy theories" into the story and in my opinion he's done it well. I enjoyed it very much and more due to a great narration of R. C. Bray who is one of my very favourite readers.

AHA!

Unfortunately I've listened to these books completely out of sequence, never previously having known there was any sequence to them! Great books though, you need to read "The Others", before "Flux" "Exo Hunter" & then "The Order".
No problem, its worth listening to them all again, but in order this time!
