Summary

MY BRATVA BROTHER WILL KILL HIM IF HE TOUCHES ME.
Flynn Taylor, rock n roll heartthrob, plays fast and loose.
He's with different girls every night. Yes, girls plural.
On the brink of becoming not just a Chicago sensation, but an American icon,
he's everything I should avoid.
Then again, maybe it doesn't matter.
I'm so damaged, I'm not even capable of a relationship.
He might be the perfect antidote.
The temptation I need to lure me back to the side of the living.
He could help me get over my trauma. Attempt physical intimacy.
If it goes wrong, no harm, no foul, right?
If only I can keep my overprotective bratva brother from threatening
to kill him if he even touches me

Healing together

I’ve read some of the Chicago Bratva series by this author—this book features Flynn, a musician and Nadia, a woman who has been rescued from trafficking and is living a restricted life, courtesy of her protective brother. I love that Nadia is taking control of how to heal and move forward while Flynn gives her the freedom and space to make her own choices, no judgment.
Kingsley Rose and Benjamin Sands are new-to-me narrators & they did a good job of representing their characters.

Empowering & Emotional Loved Nadia & FFlynn

Finally, it was time to share Nadia's story which kicked off in the Bratva series and her story has appeared in snippets throughout the series.

This was always going to be an emotional story, Nadia is attracted to Flynn, and when he invites her to an after-party things were just too good to be true when she slipped away. But to take that initial step was mammoth, there was more drama to come for them both on Nadia's journey to take back her life. I loved how Flynn was prepared to support and build her up, he may have been a player but as he spent time with her he came to realize that is not who he wanted to be any longer.

Listening to Nadia's storyline and following her journey to build a life for herself after everything she had suffered was empowering and a storyline that will live long in my memory.
