Summary

The Pulpit of the Reformation is a classic work from the 1830s, which contains all the original sermons from the first edition, plus two bonus sermons by John Welch of Ayr, and John Knox's Treatise of Prayer.

These messages that were delivered during the Reformation by these world changing ministers were given at the risk, and sometimes cost, of their own lives.

(Bishop Hugh Latimer was one of the Oxford Three, and was burned at the stake for his message).

The men who preached these sermons were not just any men. John Knox was a revolutionary Reformer of whom Queen Mary of Scots said, “I fear the prayers of John Knox more than all the assembled armies of Europe".

John Welch of Ayr was such a powerful prophet, that when the Bubonic Plague ravished the towns surrounding Ayr, the local leaders wouldn't even allow visitors through the gates without John praying first.

Hugh Latimer was a martyr who died boldly alongside the other two of the Oxford Three.

This work is not only an important piece of history. It has been passed down from generation to generation to inspire you to stand for truth, and to be set ablaze with passion for the King of Kings.
