Summary
Tim Burchett and Amber Louise Forest never suspected they had boarded a cruise ship headed straight to Hell. They couldn't have been any more different. Tim was a former armored car driver laying low on the cruise ship after making off with half a million dollars of his employer's stolen cash. Amber was the successful CEO of a multi-million dollar publishing company taking a much needed vacation from her high-stress job. Neither one could have predicted that their cruise ship would be hijacked by terrorists. Neither one could have predicted that they would have to rely on each other to survive. But the terrorists are the least of their problems. After the cruise ship's controls are blasted and the ship is sent far off course, they find themselves shipwrecked on a remote Pacific island. On the island, Tim and Amber must survive outrageous terrors created by a twisted science that exceed a lunatic's most deranged nightmares.

A jampacked, fast-paced thriller!
The Soulless is a jampacked, fast-paced thriller centring on a group of strangers, shipwrecked after their cruise ship was taken by terrorists and subsequently sunk.
As a reader, you need to stay on your toes, for there is a lot going on! As the survivors, Tim and Amber amongst them, end up on an uncharted island, they run into even worse trouble than what they encountered on the cruise ship.
Things literally spiral out of control, twists and turns pave a dangerous path for them, and they end up not even being able to trust their own.
Creepy monsters, twisted humans, horrifying villains, and brave heroes - the Soulless has a lot to offer! It was an interesting read.
Note: I listened to the audiobook, narrated by Krista Leona Anderson. Her performance is decent, but it has a lot of pauses which disrupts the flow.

great horror story

couldn't finish.
Very childish story. too many bad ideas thrown together. the narrator had a very slow monotonous voice. sorry I just couldn't finish listening.
