Summary

laugh out loud!
a typical enemies to lovers story but with brilliantly written humour. the narrator brought the main characters to life, especially Casey and Sophie.

Refreshing Queer Rom Com
I enjoyed this book, the narrator portrayed the characters hilariously and I could really see this turned into a movie, there is a lack of good rom coms for lady loving ladies.

Great! Funny, really funny!
I just thought this book was brilliant, it had me smiling and laughing out loud. In fact, I’m writing this review and smiling just thinking about it. I would recommend this book to anybody.

Funny and sweet in the best ways
The premise of two nemeses who've been pulling crap against each other for years forced to socialize at summer camp drew me in and I added it because it was free to Audible subscribers.
I loved the book, it's funny, sweet and wistful in the right amounts. It's well-written and made me look up Robin Alexander's other books. I have already re-listened to this one too, just because I love it so much. The narration is also really good so kudos to Lori Prince.
I've gone through her Audible Plus offerings and then spent credits to buy the books after the fact because they deserved it. Now 7 books into Alexander's catalogue with 5 books purchased and waiting.
I can highly recommend "The Summer of Our Discontent". If you're an Audible subscriber you don't even have to pay for it, but you might want to afterwards.

Heartwarming and funny.
Amusing and likeable cast, loved it. Well narrated too, I really liked the story and will look for more titles from this author.

My first Robin Alexander book and I enjoyed it!
You know you're onto a winner when a book makes you laugh out loud! Easy, light, full of banter and witty dialogue. Lori Prince’s comedic timing is made for Robin Alexander’s stories!

VERY CONTENTED
My first time reading a Robin Alexander book. This was a very enjoyable book 📚 narrated by Lori Prince (heard & enjoyed many times) ...
The story was great & so enjoyable right from page one. It was light-hearted, funny & easy to follow apart from the fact that it was hard to decipher the 2 main characters apart, and kept getting them mixed up alot.
More of a rom-com with little sex in the story but it's definitely worth a read !!
