Summary

C J Galtrey writes very original novels, and has a special talent for taking the listener deep inside a character's understanding of their current situation.

In his latest book, The Two of Us, Susan and Sherry, two young girls from North Carolina, embark on an adventure into the unknown. Susan, the more grounded of the two girls, and Sherry, the wild let’s get out there, life is for the living girl. Their adventures take them to place unknown to them, before they set off that fateful day for London. The story takes them, eventually, to a small church in the village of St Talo.

In Wales, there are plenty of twists, in this book, The Two of Us, with details gradually revealed, during their travels. The plot isn't overly complicated but the writing is excellent and the story very well told. If you've never listened to C J Galtrey’s books, you really should try one - always original, with deeply involving characters, but beware, they will show love, betrayal, murder loyalty, and kindness. The book cover completely sums up the feel of the book and the adventure the listener is about to embark on.
