Summary

Random House presents the unabridged downloadable audiobook edition of The Unmumsy Mum Diary by The Unmumsy Mum, read by Sarah Turner.

She's back! The Unmumsy Mum has put pen to paper (or fingers to the keyboard!) once more to bring you the next instalment of her life as mum to two young boys, documenting motherhood exactly as she finds it. Her words have made mums, dads and grandparents everywhere laugh and cry in equal measure.

In The Unmumsy Mum Diary, Sarah shares with us a year in her life as a mum, wife, blogger and best-selling author. With her trademark candour and wit, she documents the good days and the bad days, the giggles and the tantrums. She'll also share poignant, life-changing moments from her year, such as her older son heading off through the school gates for the first time.

The Unmumsy Mum Diary is as honest as it is hilarious, and a peek into Sarah's innermost thoughts will leave you in no doubt that on those days when you feel you are not quite cut out for the job, you are most definitely not alone.

At some points I had to grab a pillow to hold my poor sore tummy from laughter making my stitches pop! Thabk you for making me smile through such a emotionally hard time!!!

Had me laughing out loud!

I listened to the first book from this author and it got me through some of the very difficult early days with my son. So I was excited to start reading this next book and I wasn’t disappointed. So many laugh out loud moments and honest insights into how another family find their way through the ups and downs of parenthood, this book is a god send if you’re having one of those difficult days.

Good read

A fun perspective on parenting. A better narrator, in terms of style of delivery, would have been great.

True picture of motherhood

Amazing writing. Made me laugh so much! I would recommend it to any mum. Really shows true picture of motherhood amazing bits but also hard and challenging bits. I have listened during the walks and laughed out loud 😊

Another hilarious book from Sarah

Where does The Unmumsy Mum Diary rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Definitely one of my favourites along with Sarah's first book, the Unmumsy Mum. could't wait for this to be published...hope it isn't too long for the next book/

What did you like best about this story?

The honest and hilarious accounts of Sarah's day to day juggle of two boys and her career. an insight of what motherhood could bring.

Which character – as performed by Sarah Turner – was your favourite?

I like the performance by Sarah, it brings the book to life, especially the description of conversations with the boys and others. One of the best performers on audible.I often find that I listen to samples and don't buy a book because the person reading just does not do the work justice. whereas if Sarah was to read more i would listen, she has a voice that isn't boring or droning like many of the performers. keeps me interested in the book.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

As with all of Sarah's work, made me laugh out loud alot.

Any additional comments?

Finished this book within a few days because I couldn't switch it off. I enjoy audio books. i listen to them everyday in the car, around the house etc.
