About this listen
It’s one thing to read about witches, it’s another thing to discover you are one.
Glasgow law student David Hunter is drifting through life and feels something is missing. When on a night out someone tries to kill him and he discovers he is from a long line of witches known as Dream Dancers, his life is turned upside down.
Now David has unwittingly exposed himself to a world of powerful witches, clandestine government agencies, and a fight to protect the Akashic records.
Is a life filled with magick really his true calling in life?
If you love witches, magick, and conspiracy theories, you’ll love the first book in this fast-paced supernatural thriller series.

learning about the witches
I loved hearing the different levels of witches and learning David's journey on becoming an elemental witch.

Too short
This didnt grab me, felt a little drawn out, I believe I would have enjoyed more if I read it myself as the narrator was a little flat

Great concept
Too short for an audio book and you need a reader that can portray characters better

Didn’t really catch me
As a concept it’s good, though it didn’t really catch my interest, I love long stories, trilogies, etc. though I couldn’t wait to get to the end of this

Too short but a good intro to what I hope will be a good series.
An introduction to the real story. The main characters have been introduced. There isnt enough to have you hooked or heavily invested and it is narrated at a slow gentle pace. It feels like it needed more action and more to happen overall. That said I probably will listen to book 2 at some point. A full credit for a 4 hour book is questionable! I nearly didnt bother with it at all!

It was ‘spell binding’ without the spells!
I loved this book. Couldn’t stop listening. It had me hooked in the first 5 minutes. Not your normal witches and spells but still intriguing to see what happens to the characters. Even better is it’s set in Scotland. I am even going to buy the physical book so I can again when I have no access to digital format. AAAAAAA+***** No more time left to write anymore in this review it’s on to book 2 now.

Great Start, very intrigued!
I enjoyed this book, it is short, I am used to much longer books. I’m confident this is a great opener and a good foundation for subsequent books.
I’m looking forward to the rest of the series. Just purchased Audible books 2,3,4 & 5. Just heard the introduction re future bundle for a credit as I listen to book 2. I may have missed out on that in my enthusiastic purchase.
I am listening to the first chapter in book 2 and Steven the Author is great! I’m Scottish and love the real accent and style of narration. Please be encouraged to listen to this first book in the series, I am sure you will be delighted.
