Summary
Lexie’s got the perfect life. And someone else wants it....
Lexie loves her home. She feels safe and secure in it - and loved, thanks to her boyfriend, Tom.
But recently, something’s not been quite right. A book out of place. A wardrobe door left open. A set of keys going missing....
Tom thinks Lexie’s going mad - but then, he’s away more often than he’s at home nowadays, so he wouldn’t understand.
Because Lexie isn’t losing it. She knows there’s someone out there watching her. And, deep down, she knows there’s nothing she can do to make them stop....
A compelling, heart-racing thriller that will have you looking over your shoulder long after the last sentence. The perfect listen for fans of Louise Candlish and Adele Parks.
Critic reviews
"A rival to Gone Girl for its addictive, twisted plot." (Stylist)
"A terrific debut, which gripped me from the very first page." (Cass Green, best-selling author of In a Cottage in a Wood)
"The writing is so vivid it's frightening...an astonishingly powerful exploration of how our own minds can be the darkest, scariest places of all." (Daisy Buchanan, award-winning journalist and author)

Gripping.
Excellent read and very difficult to put down. A great portrayal of the affects of social media, even for the sane people out there.

A brilliant gripping book
I couldn't stop listening to this story. It skillfully covered topics such as mental health, anonymous modern city life and the mirage that is social media. The story was gripping and realistic.

Great but....
Really interesting story line but took too long to get to the climax, just for there not to be much of one.

Appalling narrator
Genuinely no clue where all the amazing reviews for this book came from because the story is dull and predictable and the narrator doing Harriet’s story is toe-curlingly bad. Don’t waste your money

Terrible American accent
This is a tedious story that all about IVF and pregnancy which I didn't expect from a thriller.
The narrator for Harriet does a henious " new Yawk" accent despite the Character coming from chicago.
Avoid.

Yawn!
What a long 10 hours of boooooreeeeeeee. No suspense,no twists.I wouldn’t qualify this as a thriller at all.The characters are awfully irritating. The baby/fertility topic was taken to extreme.I couldn’t relate to this book and found it hard to listen too.Who picked these accents?!A nasaly American and dull Yorkshire?!?!?Dont waste your time.
