Summary

Lucifer, God, and I walk into a room....

There's no joke, well, not really. Now that Heaven has fallen all five of us are forced to co-inhabit Lucifer's castle up on the mountain high above the crash site. Tensions run high, my princes are at their wit's end, and I'm pretty sure I'm falling in love with everyone single one of them.
On top of that I have to come to terms with the fact that I'm the next ruler of the realms. So I'm in charge of my five surly men, the demons, and the angels?

This can't end well, can it?

Still a good continuation

The story quality stays strong and got an enjoyable conclusion, there was a bit of plot that could be answered but overall loved the series!

great series

A really good read, with plenty of plot twists to keep it exciting and narration. I received this book in exchange for my honest review.

Soooo

As much as I enjoyed the series that ending left a lot of questions unanswered . In fact in the last few minutes of the book I was sure there was going to be a 4th book but I checked and it doesn’t seem there is.

So it's the end, or only just the beginning?

I struggled to finish this book...for well over a year. It was an endless cycle of starting it and stopping, then repeating from the beginning upon the next listen. The reason for this torture? To refresh what I had forgotten. Why? Because I didn't feel compelled like I did from the previous books.

I liked how Jehovah and Lucifer's complicated relationship was broached. The new god was intriguing. And the epilogue was when things finally got interesting! Why couldn't the book have explored more of this? With all this potential of her powers...so much plot could have plotted. Oh well.

Overall, there was too much inner dialogue and exposition, yet not enough action. Turmoil and hell, indeed. As for the narrator, she was fine. Though I'm not really a fan of her gruff "male" voice.
