Summary
Christmas was fast approaching, and Santa, as is usual at this time of year, had a full day planned. Someone was coming to visit him. It was someone important; a writer who wanted to write about his reindeer. It didn't quite end up that way though, and in fact, you likely know the poem he ended up writing.
