A most comprehensive guide

This was a great listen and a wonderful tool for a person like myself who could never get into running. I tried several times over the past two decades to get into running and wish I'd had come across this book back when I was struggling! It offers all the tips, tricks, and knowledge for beginners. Definitely worth a listen if you're looking for some invaluable information and a motivational boost.

Awesome guide

This book would leave you feeling excited and ready to run. The tips are helpful and make you want to start training right away. The book makes it clear how to prepare your body and mind. You feel more confident about handling tough weather or long distances. It makes you want to meet other runners and learn from them. It makes me want to start trail running

I learned so much about trail running from this book. For a long time, I thought it was similar to pavement running, but I was wrong—they are almost like two different sports.This book provides a detailed introduction to trail running, covering everything from gear preparation and trail terrain to physical and mental preparation.

One part that I enjoyed a lot was the chapter on nutrition and hydration. It lists the foods a trail runner needs to obtain essential macronutrients. It also highlights the importance of hydration, discusses the risks of dehydration, and introduces a new concept to me: over-hydration. This book is a great starting point for anyone wanting to learn about trail running. It will inspire you to start your own trail running journey.

Awesome intro to ultrarunning!

"Unleash Your Inner Ultrarunner" by Sarah Russell is an excellent resource for anyone interested in trail running, especially beginners. The audiobook was filled with practical tips and advice that seemed incredibly useful for tackling outdoor adventures. I felt like the author did a great job of covering all the necessary topics, from gear to safety to motivation (a sticking point for many!). Just understand that the book is not about short jogs or road races - ultrarunning is a different sport with its own ins and outs.

The narration of the audiobook added a lot of value as well. The narrator's enthusiastic and clear American voice made the content more engaging and enjoyable to listen to. It felt like a friend was trying her best to convince me that ultrarunning is the best sport/hobby out there!
