Summary
If you love sweet romances (PG rating), look no further than Rachelle Ayala's Have a Hart series. The Harts are a family of San Francisco firefighters. Their family motto is: "Heart comes first".
Fashion designer Jenna Hart's wedding turns into a media circus when her wedding planner signs her up for a reality show. Each week, the producers challenge her to keep her wedding on track while performing an unpleasant task or working with difficult people.
Firefighter Larry Davison wants Jenna to be happy, so he goes along with the reality show despite hating to be on camera. When the show digs too deep into his past, he has second thoughts about both the wedding and Jenna's celebrity lifestyle.
Will their ring bearer, Harley the basset hound, bring Jenna and Larry together to tie the knot in the season finale?
Valentine Wedding Hound is audiobook number five of the Have a Hart romance series. It can be listened to stand-alone, although characters from the previous audiobooks appear here in supporting roles. Please note that Larry and Jenna have their initial love story in audio book number two, Valentine Hound Dog, where we are also introduced to Harley, their basset hound puppy.

Love this series!
I love this book, it pulls together so many of the characters of this series into a crazy, love filled, suspenseful, back stabbing, misunderstanding filled story! Jenna and Larry are getting married! But this is no normal wedding. It's part of a reality TV show with dares attached to it. Larry is a private man and since his accident, lacks a lot of confidence. To keep things happy, he agrees to go along with whatever Jenna would like to do, whether it pleases him or not. Jenna loves being in the limelight, but with this show begins to realize her relationship is one sided. The antics these two go through is at times funny and others hurtful. A lot happens with sabotage and people from the past coming into the scene all wreaking havoc on the happy couple. Is their love strong enough to withstand all the pressure and craziness? I love Rachelle Ayala's stories, they always bring a message to the forefront. Communication and honesty is so important, and through an exercise like this show, it is evident how hard it can be! Having the Hart family around and seeing the progression of their stories as well we getting to know Grady a little better is a plus, but in the end, Harley for me steals the show! That dog is just amazing! Looking forward to Grady next!
Jennifer Groberg is the voice of the Harts. She infuses the fun and antagonism between the siblings and voices the love between Larry and Jenna. She is a delight to listen to.

Hart Family Love and Drama!
The Hart Family returns for Jenna and Larry's crazy reality TV wedding. Of course, there is nothing quite like reality TV's setups and surprises to test the mettle of their relationship. Between their vows not to sleep with each other until they are married, the dares involved in the programme, both Jenna and Larry's insecurities, not to mention the Hart Family's natural inclination to interfere, it is touch and go on whether the couple really has what it takes to follow through with their commitment.
This book is inline with Rachelle Ayala's usual writing style that blends entertainment, romance, family, pets, Christian values and humour. It is enjoyable and easy to listen to, with a sensitivity that is quite touching.
Despite being stand alone, I would recommend reading the earlier books in this series first. Especially Jenna and Larry's story.
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.
