Summary

Seek out new life and civilizations. Kill them for their mana. Aliens are blown away by science.

The first three books in the Viceroy's Pride series, over 32 hours of audio to whisk you away on an apocalyptic adventure!

Daniel Thrush is the only known human with the ability to learn the magic which runs the various empires of the universe. Earth is in the crosshairs of the Tellask Empire, a race that discovered magic millennia before humanity even mastered fire.

All known aliens focus on the arcane. Upon learning of magic, their technological progress all but halted as great voidships spread their colonies across the galaxy. For all of Earth's military might, their only hope is to incorporate the alien's magic into technology, to use the enemy's own tools to fight them.

The government is dead-set on transforming magic into a standard-issue weapon. That means finding monsters and harvesting their mana, usually after sticking them with a sword. Despite his better judgement, and the world on his shoulders, Daniel leaves Earth behind to bring them back a future.

Great story and narration

I received this a a free copy as I requested it, as I am a massive fan of pretty much anything in the Mountaindale community of LitRPG. These books did not disappoint and were a blast to listen to from start to finish. I will be shortlisting and listening to more Cale Plamann books as soon as my next credits arrive - well worth your time and ears!!

Great Invasion Battles

I requested this audio and have received this for free and decided to leave my thoughts for everyone.
This is my favourite series from Plamann and the usual invasion of Earth and the ability to level up always appeals to the gaming side of me. Adding in the quality narration from Daniel just makes this even better as ai haven't came across a bad performance from him yet.
I do wish that although this finishes quite satisfactorily for this part of a story the writing and characters deserve another series.
