Summary
I understand that sleeping with the boss is a bad idea.
To be fair, I was already sleeping with my co-worker.
And yeah, we all live in the same bunkhouse on a ranch in the middle of the Central Texas Hill Country, but we’re professionals. We can handle it.
Besides, I’ve made it pretty darn clear that I am in no way a relationship guy.
Am I trying to hide a mountain of pain after losing the unrequited love of my life? Sure…but we don’t say that part out loud.
I’m just trying to figure out who gave Joaquin and Colt permission to go off and start something on their own. I thought our boss/co-worker arrangement was pretty good, especially after that impromptu three-way.
But now, they’re excluding me. It almost feels like they’re trying to make me jealous. Not that I’m jealous, or whatever.
Besides, I could never love someone as much as I loved Renée. There isn’t a single person in the world who could take her place.
Huh.
Is it possible that I need two people to show me how to love again?

great series
Wow, what a heart-wrenching, heart-breaking, heart-warming (melting!) story! Kelly's crazy cowboys are at it again in this fantastic and emotionally wrought romance. Wick, Joaquin, and Colt struggle trying to get their brains, hearts, and bodies on the same page, but eventually, they work out all the kinks - or work them in, whichever. Warwick breaks my poor heart, AND makes me want to smack some sense into him, shake or throttle him. Colt & Joaquin come up with a plan, that works! And then these guys get down to some FUN! Hate to say goodbye to some of these loved characters, but, while this series is at an end, some characters will show up again in other series/spin-offs.
Declan Winters did a superbly amazing job performing this audiobook, & others in this series. The different voices, personalities, and ALL THE EMOTION in this series, holy cow. Let me just say, Le amo Joaquin!!!! That voice, accent, language, ay caramba, I melt.

So much love for this trio
Did I forget just how much I cried at Warwick when I first read the book? Maybe. . . Did I cry and sob like a baby while listening even though I knew what was going to happen? Yes yes I did because dam does Warwick and his grieving for Renee cut my heart wide open.
Warwick, Colt and Joaquin are everything! Joaquin is clearly the care taker in this little threesome and boy do his men need his TLC. I love how Joaquin and Colt team up to make Warwick realise he loves them back. Seeing Warwick finally let himself be loved still gives me goosebumps and makes my eyes water. Colt is still the loveable teddy bear that I fell for in sparrow. He needs to let himself be loved and realise he deserves that love. These three together are just 🔥. The spice in this instalment of the rebel sky series is hotter than hell and I wish I was a fly on the wall in that tack room 🥵.
I haven’t heard anything Declan has narrated before but wow does he bring these three men to life. He made me feel everything on a deeper level than before safe to say I’ll be looking for more book Declan has narrated.

So much good in this one amazing title
I adored this book in print, but the artistic performances of Declan Winters made the audio even better.
Fox created 3 main characters that are easy to love. Warwick is beautifully broken, Colt is cheerful and supportive and Joaquin is a natural caregiver.
The more I learn about Rene, the more I become convinced that she would have been a hoot to have as a friend. But, boy, some of the scenes involving her broke me.
Sisko (the horse) has always been a personal favourite for his antics as the resident escape artist. In this novel, he becomes even more loveable.
I love cameos by characters from other Fox books/series. I won’t give any away, but there’s a few appearances that are extra special for avid readers of Fox’s work.
Above all, the found family aspect of Rebel Sky Ranch is highlighted spectacularly in this book and, in that way, you feel like part of the gang as you listen to the beautiful (& swoon worthy) voices Winters gives to each character. Now if someone could just teach me how to play Pounce in real life!

I loved Warwick, Colt and Joaquin together! The intimate scene were intense and heads up- donot listen to this in public😏 You have been warned!!
