excellent
The story was weaved very nicely by the creators. Production values are excellent. Story is riveting and the overall experience for the listener is captivating. Cannot wait to hear what the couple behind this do next ( the creators that is!)

Very good production.
I was sucked in by this story and would recommend it to others. It made me want to visit Cork and see the beauty for myself. It is also a very sad a brutal story and still don’t know what happened. It would be good to get some closure, for me the reader and for everyone involved. Especially Sophie’s poor family. I look forward to future podcasts on this.

Gripping
Even though I knew a bit about this story I was blown away by the podcast. The intimate conversations, the balance of the report, all make this probably one of the best podcast I’ve listened to. I’ve recommended it to so many people. Can’t wait for the updated version

I don’t like him!
I must admit that the main character was unlikeable so it was exhausting the focus on him, is he innocent or not. I don’t care anymore just please stop him from taking up my air space.

Completely mad but brilliantly done
What a ride? Amazingly well done documentary about the maddest, most frustrating case. Makes you angry and amused by turns. I think I'm with the horse chap (you'll understand when you listen).

Best podcast
Fantastic podcast, edited to perfection, amazing soundtrack and each character captured beautifully. I listened to this on holiday in Tenerife, Christmas/New Year 2019, but I was whisked to wildest West Cork when listening. Great reporting team also.

I couldn’t stop listening.
This is such an interesting story, so many twists and turns. Who did it? I still don’t know after changing my mind several times!

Compelling
I enjoyed, but did feel irked at the translation of my Irish into English at the beginning .....that’s our accent and an area the British always feel the need to do. I did move past this.
Overall, many of us have always believed this man to be guilty, I think the producers were fair and balanced. The French family are inspiring and beautiful. Her son is a gent and I was heartened to know that he held the view that his mother had whole heartedly loved and lived on the land before she died. The truth will out and may she always rest in peace.
