About this listen
“It’s a good fear, Sam. I’d miss it if it wasn’t there...”
Musical prodigy Eddie Dean gets everything she wants. The best violin, the best boyfriend, and a place at the best music school in London are hers until her father goes bankrupt. Once the financial façade comes tumbling down, Eddie’s broke and her boyfriend couldn’t care less.
The doorstep of Jimmy’s Café is the last place she expects to wash up.
Scrubbing dishes and serving fried breakfasts to pay her rent is as hellish as she imagined, and her new life is made worse by the disdain of her boss’ sneering grandson. Sam Nowak is arrogant, rude, and gorgeous, and if Eddie never sees him again, it will be too soon. Shame she can’t stop thinking about him. Dreaming about him. Craving him.
And then there’s his best friend Dylan.
Dylan is as light as Sam is dark, and Eddie wants him too. She can have him too—according to Sam—but when Sam reveals a vulnerability that could cost him his life, it’s time for Eddie to face the music. Does she still need to get everything she wants, or should she choose what matters?

Great story
Loved the characters and story. The narration was good no silly voices! Word or warning don’t listen to chapter 11 in your car with the windows down as you drive into the school car park you might get looks from some of the other parents 🤦♀️

Change Of Circumstances.
MF(M), Rich Girl/Poor Boy, Contemporary, Romance. I found it slow to start with but found that the story soon gained momentum with lots of information given throughout. Twists and turns throughout with some steamy with a capital S moments!! I loved how much emotion the narrator spoke with and it really added to enjoyment of the audiobook. The first MF of this authors that I have experienced and as per usual so much life has been breathed into their characters. Guaranteed HEA.

Sam and Eddie
Eddie's world collapses when her father's bankruptcy takes away her comfortable life and she's suddenly left to make it on her own. She is determined to finish uni and make her place to the first seat in the violin section of the orchestra and together with her flatmate she fills in all the necessary paperwork for grants and burseries to keep studying and she lands herself a waitress job in a small polish diner. For the first time she enters the real world which is an eye opener for someone who has never wanted for anything. When she meets Sam, they both make assumptions about each other and fights are a daily occurrence. But as it often goes opposites attract and the sex is amazing. But can two people who come from such opposite worlds make it together in the long run? I'm a huge fan of Garrett Leigh mm books but this fm is also worth reading. The narrator is great and reminded me a lot of Joanne Lumley in Absolutely Fabulous when talking to Eddie. This book is worth your credit.
