Quick paranormal romance
This was a quick listen and I really enjoyed Addison Barnes' narration; I was completely sucked in by her performance on Cole and Jules as well as the other characters in the story.
Cole and Jules are attracted to each other like magnets but are still highly suspicious of their connection. Jules, Cole and Flynn in particular stood out however I had been hoping for a bit more development surrounding Allie. Likewise with Trent and Melanie who seem to be completely different characters to who we met in book one. There is definitely a lot of mistrust in this book and I am enjoying figuring out what everyone's motivations are and who the real villain is. I have book three ready to go as I need to find out what happens next!

enjoyable
The story - And so the intrigue continues in this exciting new installment of Dark Falls Academy. I'm really enjoying this well crafted series as it hums its witchy magic and captivates me with some great mysteries. Always a sucker for well told mystery!
Yes, the story has matured since the beginning and while some of the classroom scenes read like they are straight out of children's books, the hot enemies/lovers romance between the fae prince, Cole, and fire witch, Jules, definitely has adult rating.
The audio book - read by Addison Barnes who does an absolute sterling job of differentiating all the complex voices in the PNR. Her narration brings the story alive and offers the reader/listener a fantastic audio experience. Thoroughly enjoyed this audio!
