Your body needs this book
Reggie Ray is an astonishingly knowledgeable writer and historian. I’ve read this book twice now some of it rewound and read again. Everything you need to cure you from just about every modern problems stress trauma relationships shame - the whole shebang is right here in this wonderful audio book his voice is amazing. All you have to do is get on the floor, get comfy and listen. You’ll be in the zone in no time. Next for me is Volume 2.

Brilliant Insight
Reggie Ray creates a platform for an engaging introduction into the world of meditation. The philosophy and intellectual content sets a great backdrop for the individual practices that follow. The instructions are clear and his tone allows you to travel into deep relaxation. This is a must for anyone looking to explore the power of meditation.

Profound, transformative and simple
Totally rediscovered my practice, so much depth came through this approach. After 10 years of meditation this is one of the 2 or 3 most potent gifts I've received.
I will definitely work my way through the flowing audio series and would love to study with reggie in person.

Good introduction to the practices of this lineage
Each chapter starts with some broad teachings, then the specifics of the practice about to be taught, followed by a guided meditation. I highly rate everything by Reggie Ray. This collection does spend more time on the theory. Very helpful. I personally slightly preferred his more recent Buddhist tantra series which has a greater proportion of time on guided oractice.

wonderful teachings
If you could sum up Your Breathing Body, Volume 1 in three words, what would they be?
this series is a must for any serious practitioner who wants to wake up in an embodied way.
Any additional comments?
the only downside is that Audible doesn't give the titles of the chapters. it make sit hard to go back to find the meditations practices you wanted to do again.
