Summary

Today, people and groups who disagree on an issue are less likely to send threatening letters, hold demonstrations, or riot. They are more likely to hire professional assassins to resolve the issue.

The government has experienced an increasing number of assassinations: members of Congress, government agencies, and VIPs. Desperate, Congress directed the creation of an Anti-Terrorist Group and gave Home Land Security two and one-half years to produce the first anti-terrorist agents.

The new directors managed to meet the deadline and graduate four agents, but now came the real test. Can the new graduates meet Congress's expectations to stop professional assassins from killing those individuals the agents are assigned to protect?

This is especially true of graduates like Kate Mathis, a party girl who has a pattern of not being able to make up her mind about what she wants to do with her life.

This novel was a finalist in the ACTION / ADVENTURE Category of the 2016 Next Generation Indie Book Awards.

Author's note: a rewrite of this novel was used to create Book III, Megan, in the Kazak Series.
