Fantastic zombie series

Another amazing book in the Zombie Games series, I was hooked from the start, and couldn't put it down. I can't wait for the next book to find out what happens next. I received this book in exchange for my honest review.

I almost gave up on it

I received this book via promo code and this is my voluntary review.

It would appear that Cassie's terrible decision making and Chosen One Plot Armour is hereditary.

This is the third book of Zombie Games and the first that actually pits our survivors into a drained pool turned zombie arena for Naked Babe Zombie Games. Told in a mixture of groups and jumping Third Person to Cassie's first person POV. (The result of which might have worked as an ebook but does not translate to audio.... Turn back and get the ebook if you want to complete the series!)

Our Wild family have another gold star in the Zombie Apocalypse survival. Youngest daughter Ally is immune to the Zombie Virus.. desperate to produce a vaccine the CDC in Atlanta has told Momma Wild Kris that Ally is dead.

(not to be confused with Kristy, Chrissie, Cassie or Carli... the Mary Sue-ness seems to have resulted in far too many mini variations of the authors name and it does get confusing as all Hell considering all the jumps in 3rd to 1st POV between the groups.

Momma Wild knows they are lying and makes a Blonde Jessica Rabbit-esque friend in Carli who helps her break out of the CDC with her daughter... and doesn't immediately try to rescue her eldest daughter Cassie who has been handed over to the CDC since she was bitten too?

Don't worry the Amazing Plot Armored Cassie of course- escapes. That just screams Plot hole. Its not how logical scientific minds like those who run the CDC would think, its also completely unbelievable that she ends up a few miles down the road in a Hotel when the soldiers would have been deployed to find Ally and Cassie... nope. Not only do the Soldiers not go hunting for our Immune Heroines.... Paige gets kidnapped by evil drug smugglers. Even AFTER they had previously just dealt with Cassie being kidnapped by Austin this group learned nothing about security.

Yup... these characters are TSTL. Bryce is wandering around with no memories, women are being rounded up in Atlanta to be forced into an awful Zombie Game sport, because sure... its the first few weeks of Zombie World and people trying to survive the apocalypse so of course spending precious time rounding up all the women in the area to live stream throwing them to zombies for entertainment is a smart "business decision".

Another plot hole... Food, Shelter, Sex is the survival hierarchy... throwing attractive girls to Zombies is NOT going to happen. Humanity is much uglier than that, girls get trafficked and used as currency and pimping is a much more sustainable long term business plan. Humans are a finite resource in the apocalypse so the candidates pool would run out quickly.

Cassie ends up kidnapped too, so does Nora... and Bryce proves himself as the worst white knight ever and ends up in as the main feature right beside Cassie in the arena. Wild Parents and Tiny to the rescue... and then it time jumps to 2 weeks later. Hormones run rampant, parents get dead and they are STILL in Atlanta with 2 immune survivors who need to be running away from the CDC but nope they stay in the Colosseum Hotel breaking Zombie Survival rule number 3- Don't Shelter somewhere obvious that will attract other people.

Hotel with a generator and food? That will attract dangerous people-like the people who had been holding them hostage there, so of course! They throw Cassie an 18th birthday party.

Cassie's decision at the end of this book to run off in search of her grandparents-putting everyone else at risk by splitting up and risking the younger kids proves that Cassie Wild really is Too Stupid To Live.
