027: Politics Cannot Survive Without Young People

  • Summary

  • Councillor for Stoke Newington, Mete Coban joins Swarzy and Ben to bridge the gap between young people and politics.

With his job alongside politicians but his heart for people, Mete provides a real insight into what life is like inside the world of politics.

As well as a Councillor, Mete is also the Chief Executive at My Life My Say - a youth-led, national, non-partisan movement on a mission to secure a better Brexit for young people by creating safe spaces for debate on and offline, as well as our research and advocacy work with decision-makers.

This year, MLMS is back with its event, Common Futures Forum, to inspire, empower and connect young and socially excluded citizens to lead change, by providing them with the platform to shape society.

Hosted by The Litmus Podcast’s very own Swarzy, CCF is happening on Saturday 16th November featuring a line up of incredible special guests speakers including Gina Martin, Jurgen Maier, Lord Simon Woolley and many more.
