During this time, it is all about high-performing (on point), nose length wins, and world record breaking. But how can we climb the Olympus in our daily ambitious life and win on a daily basis? Let me run through 5 of my top tips on how to build a winners mindset and play life like a pro! #1 Find your own definition of success that is beneficial and motivating. When it comes to defining and evaluating our own levels of success, we first need to agree on what that actually looks and feels like. When it comes to goal setting, the goal is simply the tip of the iceberg. What's even more important is building a system and embodying the new identity of your desired outcome. This allows you to install micro habits that inevitably lead to success and achievements! You’ll get the perfect deep dive into building new micro habits in James Clear’s bestsellers, Atomic Habits (https://amzn.to/3LikEZu) and The 1% Method (https://amzn.to/4bJgm8g). #2 Commitment Your level of commitment is crucial for your daily wins and sustainable success. How bad do you want that new life, that change, that betterment? And ask yourself truthfully: Are you playing your life and business like an amateur or like a pro? Because like this famous quote says, I heard in a John Assaraf Masterclass: “Treat your business like a business and it'll PAY you like a business. Treat your business like a hobby and it'll COST you like a hobby.” So the level of commitment is absolutely crucial and directly linked to your ability to succeed. #3 Learning forward (cross the word failing out of your repertoire) There's a huge difference between highly successful and struggling individuals, and it all starts with their perspective on hardships and setbacks. A winner's mind has trained itself to see the value, the learning lesson, the growing opportunity, and the gift in everything that happens, the good and the bad. They take full ownership of their lives and refuse to be victims of their circumstances. #4 Build a strong TEAM! Humans are built to be cooperative and live in relationships—and it's a beautiful thing! That is simply what made us survive and thrive for so many years to begin with, and it can do the same for you! Even though there are many people out there who have trust issues and try to isolate themselves, thinking that the "lone wolf path" is the safest path in life, we can't deny our human design! Side Note: If you're like most of us and struggling with trust issues, don't worry! I dedicated an entire episode to this, and you can find it here: https://open.spotify.com/episode/6QsppyNsBAyHCvKji5cH. NK?si=f7b048a5861440f3 #5 Holding your standards and boundaries When it comes to life, we get what we tolerate, and people will always test your commitment and boundaries, especially when it comes to success and positive life changes out of their comfort zones. But you can rise to the challenge! I'm excited to share this amazing resource with you! Melissa Urban has created an incredible and practical guide on how to set and maintain healthy boundaries for yourself and others. You can find the book here: https://amzn.to/4cToF2g.
