  • Max Verstappen is the World Champion!!! It reads better than it actually was as this was a very anticlimactic championship win for Verstappen. It did however fit with such an anticlimactic race in Japan.

    It was raining and pouring in Japan, so much so that the race started, then stopped, then started again and in the end we got about 40 mins of lap time. Safety is the big discussion surrounding this GP as Pierre Gasly has been incredibly vocal about nearly hitting a tractor recovering Carlos Sainz’s wall-parked Ferrari.

    To further add to the complications of the FIA decision making, it has been revealed both Red Bull and Aston Martin were in violation of the regulations in 2021… The same season that had the controversial ending in Abu Dhabi.
