Bradley Charbonneau is an “unstoppable writing machine.”

Audio has been around since, I suppose, the spoken language. The difference now is distribution and availability. Audiobooks, podcasts, smart phones, voice controlled home speaker systems, connected cars, and who knows what will come next.

Audiobook marketing and podcast marketing doesn’t have to be different from book marketing or any other marketing for that matter.

The product is called, loosely, Dragon Dictation. It’s made by a company called Nuance. There are versions for the PC, an old one for the Mac, and a mobile version that works a little differently.

My mom sometimes leaves me voicemails that say, “I know it’s late at night for you comma but I just wanted to let you know that Tony really liked the banana bread period.”

My only concern with using dictation is how my mind, and how my imagination, will adjust to it.

For several years now, I’ve been wanting to set up a podcast. The reasons I didn’t do it are probably very common:

1. I didn’t know how to do it technically,

2. Part of me wasn’t even sure what content to produce,

3. Did I just say produce? I bet it involves things like audio file editing and fade in and fade outs,

4. I’ll do it someday when it all gets easier.

That day, someday, has arrived.

This is where things can get exciting with your book as a podcast as opposed to (or in addition to) an audiobook.
