  • This week I talked with Texas Slim about #FoodIntelligence and how he is working to help people get better food. Slim is the founder of the Beef Initiative, a community marketplace built to connect ranchers with consumers.

    We had a very interesting conversation on topics such as: FDA/USDA, Regenerative farming vs. Monocropping, events that caused the Dust Bowl, the protests in the Netherlands, mysterious fires, the history of the food pyramid, and what GRAS (generally recognized as Safe) ingredients mean to us. Slim also helps lay out a plan to be better prepared for potential scenarios consumers may face in the coming years.
