• Let’s Get off the wheel
    Jul 17 2022
After reading a series of articles, my mind began to think about all the contradictions in our society. How can we ever stop taking two steps forward and one step back? Living without a divine awakening keeps us on a wheel. We are born with a purpose. When we tap into our true self, we find that we are filled with gifts to be shared. We will change this world with sharing, caring, & giving when we get off the wheel.

  • Don’t Be Discouraged with Small Steps
    May 22 2022
Be Your Divine You is resuming after a brief hiatus. During this time, I was recalibrating and listening to my inner voice. My goal is to live a life of purpose. It is ok to take time time make sure you are going in the right direction and yielding your energy to things that matter. During this time I began reading a book by Michael Todd, entitled, "Crazy Faith". This podcast shares some of the insights that have motivated me to continue on my journey. He talks about baby faith and how small steps of faith are miraculous. I share stories and encourage my listeners to stop discounting baby steps. Stop waiting for everything to be perfect before you start. Taking baby steps gives you the opportunity to learn and grow.

  • Mental Health; a faith-based discussion
    Jan 31 2022
Rev. Janice Davis-Lee joined me in 2020 to talk about mental health. She is involved on a daily basis working with families on health based issues. She is a faith-based leader, a Suffragan Bishop over Washington State in the Alaska-Huron District Council (Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc.). She has a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, a Master's of Business Administration in Health Management. and is a phenomenal speaker in her own right. Her passion is to inform and educate about mental health issues, especially suicide prevention. The CDC.gov says that every 11 minutes a life is lost to suicide. It is the second largest cause of death of people ages 10-34 (2019). We must keep the spotlight shining on this issue. Every life on this planet is precious. If you know someone is in crisis call the National Suicide Prevention lifeline at 1-800-273-8255, or use the online suicide prevention chat line at www.suicidepreventionlifeline.org. You can email Bishop Janice at J.music.davis@gmail.com or message her at Janice Davis Ministries, Inc. on Facebook.
