  • S10 E10: The top 10 driver moves of F1's V10 era!
    Sep 4 2024
Our latest top 10 debate on Bring Back V10s is all about the biggest driver moves from F1's V10 era. Glenn Freeman is joined - as always - by Edd Straw, Matt Beer and Ben Anderson, to argue over which moves were the most seismic from 1989-2005, with sub-debates including if drivers moving between teams should be more important than a shocking signing from outside F1, or a driver unexpectedly quitting. And should the success of a move play a role in how highly it's ranked? The biggest names from the era all feature in our final list, including Schumacher, Senna, Prost, and Mansell, but which move came out as number one, and who of our panelists had the craziest picks? Listen along to find out. Want MORE BBV10s? Join The Race Members' Club on Patreon and get bonus episodes, including the 1997 Revisited Series! 5 stars, right up my alley

Hi guys, loving the podcast so far after a week long binge. My question for the next season finale is when did psychology and mental health become a key part of F1 since it seemed to pop up in the later v10 era, I first noticed it in HHFs struggles at a high pressure environment and his openness about stress which impacted his driving but it seemed almost taboo in the super macho era of the 80s. Even Patrese seemed to just have an "it is what it is" attitude after hunt and Lauda came together to (wrongly) say he killed Ronnie Petersen. I hope you guys know what I'm rambling about and can find something good to discuss in this word spaghetti.

Fantastic F1 fan or not.

Love it. Massive F1 fan since the late 80s, so to be expected. However have even none F1 friends and family have taken an interest purely for the history and factual storytelling. Keep it up guys, fantastic.
